David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.

The author

Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.

An official for the company said: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."

It has been reported that the move was taken subsequent to an inquiry regarding allegations of inappropriate behaviour involving female individuals.

The firm did not confirm the motivations for this action, stating: "We do not comment on private personnel issues."
